As a student of a distance learning programme with EFA you can expect to receive all of the necessary study materials and support to ensure you are successful. Below you will find a summary of the resources which will be available to you.

Course Handbook
Each course will have a specific handbook which details the learning objectives, assessment, key contacts for the course and institution regulations.

Study Modules
For each of the courses you will receive tailored study modules to guide you through the learning process. Each module will contain specific learning objectives, self‐assessments, readings and references to text books (which are usually provided).

Textbooks
You will be provided with all of the necessary core text books to enable you to adequately complete all assessments. You may find reference to other recommended readings, but it is not required that you purchase these.

Online Student Portal
Direct access to tutors, fellow students and a range of complimentary study resources can be found on the online student portal. Upon registration you will receive login access. Distance Learning Library Service (University of Leicester Only) The Library Service will help you find and access information you need for your course or research. This includes access to journal articles, E-books, postal loan services and staff who are on hand to help you with specific research requests.

Social Networking
Both EFA and our institutional partners offer access to various social networking sites including Face Book and Twitter so you can stay connected with current activities.

Student Network Lists
Upon enrolment in a programme you will be given the opportunity to sign up for student network lists. You will then have direct access to fellow students who are studying the same course.

On-Campus and Regional Summer Schools (University of Leicester)
If you wish to obtain the experience of an on‐campus student, you will have the opportunity to attend both on‐campus and regional summer school events. This will include an opportunity to meet with university academics, attend lectures, workshops and case study sessions.

Graduation
Upon completion of your studies, you will have the opportunity to attend the formal graduation celebration held on-campus.
